We are thrilled to announce that ThermoAnalytics has been awarded a competitive Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II Award from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to create a state-of-the-art, human thermal model that predicts crew member induced loads for evaluating a (long-distance) exploration vehicle’s thermal control, environmental control, and life support systems – including during conceptual and early design phases.
ThermoAnalytics provided NASA with an easy-to-use, highly accurate human thermal modeling capability that is responsive to their needs. Wide commercial use of both the TAITherm HTM and the Thermal Desktop will ensure that continued thermophysiological advancement will be available for NASA applications.
