Michigan Governor Rick Snyder Visits TAI Calumet

Tuesday, Aug 12, 2014

August 12th, 2014 -   Governor Rick Snyder stopped by ThermoAnalytics' Calumet headquarters to get an in depth look into high tech software design in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The Governor along with State Representative, Scott Dianda, took a tour of the facility and saw an update of the progress on the building expansion. From there they met with a team of engineers from nearby university, Michigan Tech, that design 3D printers. Snyder was impressed with the growth of ThermoAnalytics and the advanced technology that permeates the community, from both TAI and Michigan Tech.

“It’s great to be at ThermoAnalytics because it really shows how high tech things are in the Upper Peninsula,” said Snyder.  “It’s an outstanding company and it was really great to see their international success.  They’re selling their products and services around the world.”

ThermoAnalytics is honored to have hosted Governor Snyder, Representative Dianda and their teams.
