Pan Over Burner
The temperature profile of a pan is evaluated over a burner. The burner is set to high then the temperature is lowered. Since there is often a poor physical connection between the burner and pan, radiation is used to transfer heat in the model. Different pan styles may be evaluated by changing to a 3-layer part and assigning various materials, coating layers, and thicknesses.
